Karl started his Aviation career in 1983 as a Royal Air Force Apprentice and subsequently served as An Engineer Officer until 1992 .
He then moved into commercial aviation in global sales and marketing roles with leading aftermarket organisations before establishing his own business in 2000 providing advisory, aircraft transition and support services to major lessors. Following the sale of the business he joined Aeroturbine where he later became CEO providing aircraft end-of-life solutions including leasing, trading and MRO activities. Following the wind-down of Aeroturbine he provided advisory services to lessors and investors on a number of restructuring and M&A projects.
Karl joined Aergo at the beginning of 2020 responsible for the mature asset strategy completing the acquisition and sale of over 30 aircraft and engines before he became Head of Asset Management in 2022. Following the acquisition of Seraph, Aergo Asset Management provides lease management, remarketing and technical services for 170 investor owned aircraft.Upgrade to initiate conversation first
