Eelco started his career in finance at the ING in the Netherlands. After a spell in Dublin, still with ING, he took a sabbatical year and re-joined the world of finance at NIB capital in The Hague. By now fully vested in aircraft finance Eelco joined DVB in London and later New York where he remained DVB Aviation’s Regional Head for the Americas for well over ten years. Eelco was then promoted to DVB Aviation’s Global Head based back in London.  After DVB Aviation was bought and integrated by MUFG he became MUFG’s Global Head of Origination Aviation Finance.  After a short spell at MUFG Eelco joined Apollo Global Management at the start of 2021 to head up PK AirFinance.
